Farm business representatives
CWB Farm Business Representatives (FBRs) work for you in communities across Western Canada. FBRs live in the region they serve and are a link between you and your CWB.
Much of their time is spent meeting with farmers, communicating CWB policies and programs and participating in local events. Your FBR is available to answer questions about CWB delivery, payment and service options.
FBRs also assist the CWB in marketing and logistics planning by providing information from the field about local growing conditions, harvest progress and existing stocks.
What can your CWB FBR do for you?
- Come to your farm to discuss any issues you have
- Explain how CWB programs can fit into your farm operation
- Host and attend your conference or public speaking engagement
- Arrange meetings with your farmer-elected directors
- Arrange tours to CWB head office, agriculture trade shows and other events
- Help you navigate the CWB’s online business tools, such as www.cwb.ca and e-Services
- Trouble shoot any concerns with contracts, permit books and deliveries
